Start on iPhone

Once the Mac side is ready, the next step is the iPhone. In the iPhone app, you add the Mac as a Host, then open Projects and Threads.

For the current distribution status and the install path, start with Get the iPhone App.

Main screens you use on iPhone

  • Home The entry point for the default Host, recent Projects, and the thread you were using last.
  • Sidebar The place to open Projects, Hosts, and Settings.
  • Projects The list where you choose the workspace you want to open.
  • Hosts The place to add a Mac, run Connection Test, and retry setup.
  • Settings The place to adjust language, theme, font size, and connection-related behavior.

What you do on the iPhone side

  1. Get the iPhone app.
  2. Allow camera and local network access if needed.
  3. Use Add from QR from the empty screen, or open Hosts from the sidebar and scan the Mac QR code.
  4. Wait for the Project list to be imported automatically.
  5. Open a Project and then a Thread.

The two ideas that matter most at the beginning are Hosts and Projects. If you understand those, the rest of the iPhone flow becomes easy quickly.
