Usage Overview
The Usage section explains how to continue the Codex work you normally run on the Mac from the iPhone. It assumes pairing is already complete, Bridge is ready, and you can open Projects from the iPhone.
The mental model is simple: the real work continues on the Mac, while the iPhone lets you quickly check what is happening, send the next instruction, and switch context when needed.

How to read this section
- If you use the Mac Codex App too, start with Use It with Codex App for the big picture.
- If you want the everyday entry points first, read Open a Project and Check a Thread.
- For sending requests and fine-grained controls, read Send with Composer.
- If you want to choose between branches, skills, and one-shot execution, read Use Branches, Skills, and Exec.

Even if the live connection on the iPhone drops, the work on the Mac often keeps going. When you are away from the desk, it helps to think of the iPhone as the window for progress checks and follow-up instructions.
